An uninhabited island inside a protected marine park — no hotels, no shops, no plastic. Just white sand, living coral gardens, and glass-bottom boats over fish you can name from memory afterward.

Only a limited number of boats go each day, and you need a forest department permit — your operator handles this. The glass-bottom boat ride out is the preview: staghorn coral, parrotfish, clownfish in anemones, all visible without getting wet.
snorkel from the shore
The reef starts metres from the beach. Bring your own gear or rent on the boat. No plastic is allowed on the island; everything gets checked at the jetty. Most trips leave from Wandoor and return to Port Blair by late afternoon.

Jolly Buoy works best as a morning-to-afternoon escape from Port Blair — combine with Red Skin island if permits allow. It's the reef day that makes people understand why the Andamans aren't just about beaches.
