havelock
the island that ruined every other beach for you.
Two ferries from Port Blair and forty minutes into the Bay of Bengal, Havelock is the reason people book Andaman flights in the first place. Wide, warm, and unreasonably blue.
The island is small enough to scooter end-to-end in a morning, but you won't want to. Radhanagar (Beach No. 7) is the postcard — powder sand, gentle water, a sunset that lasts an hour. Beach No. 5 is where the dive shops live and the sundowners flow. Kalapathar in the east is where you go to be alone.
The rhythm here is coral in the morning, hammock in the afternoon, and grilled fish by lamplight. Nobody's in a rush. If you're staying more than three nights, the island starts to reshape your idea of what a good day looks like.
